Who this is for
Verified owners or authorized representatives of a compromised, locked or disabled account.
Four different recovery situations
| Case type | What it means | Pathway |
|---|
| R1 Compromise | Someone else took control | Urgent. Official recovery route, evidence pack, then hardening after recovery |
| R2 Lost access | Forgotten credentials or a lost 2FA device, with no attacker | Self-help guidance first, then assisted recovery if that fails |
| R3 Platform action | Suspended, disabled or restricted by the platform | Policy review, appeal guidance and evidence preparation |
| R4 Ownership dispute | An ex-employee, ex-agency, partner or co-founder holds access | Requires documented ownership. Legal review flag. No action until authorization is confirmed |
How the work happens
- Triage and give immediate safe-action guidance.
- Check eligibility and authorization.
- Prepare the ownership evidence checklist.
- Guide the client through the official platform recovery or appeal flows.
- Follow up and escalate through legitimate public channels.
- After recovery, harden the account and review the incident.
What you receive
Case assessment, evidence checklist, submission guidance, progress updates on an agreed cadence, and a post-recovery security checklist.
Excludes
We do not guarantee recovery. We exclude access without the owner’s participation, verification bypass, hacking back and recovery of funds or cryptocurrency.
Official routes first
Many recovery cases can be resolved for free through official routes. We link to them first. If you need help, we guide and support you through them. We cannot override a platform's decision.
Your starting point
Start with free official resources. If further support is appropriate, an assessment and any additional work are scoped separately. Intake and paid services remain disabled in this preview.
Recovery help for your platform
Start with the official account recovery directory, or read the dedicated guidance for Instagram, Facebook and Google or YouTube. Use the platform’s own login and verification tools; support does not replace an ownership check.
Once access is restored, a social media security review can help document administrators, recovery methods and the changes needed to reduce repeat incidents.
What we need from you
A clear description, public account references and confirmation that you own the assets or are authorized to act. We agree an evidence checklist after assessment. Never send passwords or verification codes.
Platforms, registrars and hosts make the final decisions on recovery and removal. We cannot promise their outcomes.
